Our licensed processing facility is onsite. We sell our whole squash (up to 50 lbs. each), pealed and unpeeled wedges, as well at 16 oz containers of cubed squash.

Our main crop of sugar hubbard squash was developed by Edwin Sherman and WSU extension agency back in the late 1940’s. It is a cross between a sweet meat hubbard and a blue hubbard. In combining the two we have a product that (as far as we know) we only grow commercially. We can store this product from harvest in October, sell them “fresh” all winter and spring. In May we sell our last squash while planting for the next years market.

These squash are native to our area and all of the conditions are perfect for us. We grow organically, trading land with our cousins that grow other crops. In this way we all get the crop rotations necessary for good farming practices.

Products are available on are Whidbey, Payless Foods in Freeland and Prairie Center in Coupeville carry our sweet sugar hubbard. (Begin looking in October.) Off Island we cube and sell to Whole Foods.

Last year we entered Skagit Valley Food Co-op and in Bellingham the Community Food Co-ops. We are always looking to get into other fresh markets and are working with NABC to develop some new possibilities.

If you think that you might like to purchase some of our product, contact us and we’ll discuss the possibilities.
We will continue to look for additional retail clients as well as smaller distributors who can accomidate smaller deliveries and orders onto the mainland for our squash as well as other products that will be available soon. Such as Dee's Sugar Hubbard Squash bread, it is delicous!
